We are a community of people seeking to find simple ways of living more fullly into a profound Faith.
We began with conversations by several people desiring to delve more deeply into better understanding what it means to be reconciled to God and to one another in ways that make sense for a society and culture that is already Post-Christian and Postmodern. The Anglican Tradition provides us a structure and context for reclaiming essential aspects of the ancient Faith that have survived through millenia of trial and persecution and have flurished within multitudes of cultures and languages. These essential aspects, which we call the Christian Spiritual Disciples, move us beyond issue oriented and agenda driven organziational conflicts and being us once again - in new ways within differenct contexts - to that which feeds the soul and renews our purpose and hope.
In going about this endeavor, we strive to give ourselves as a living-worshiping community to Prayer, the Study of Scripture, saying the Daily Office, being with one another in worship in the Celebration of the Eucharist, participating in Spiritual Direction and Confession, and to doing Good Works for our fellow man - all of this to deepen our relationship with God through Jesus Christ and with one another. The Christian Spiritual Disciplines work together to transform our thinking, our intentions, our purposes so that we will be the image of God, the imago Dei, for the people we encounter in daily life.
We are an Anglican Society rooted in the Episcopal Church in the USA, part of the global Anglican Communion. The Episcopal Diocese of Long Island and St. Paul's Church in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. These are the places of our beginning.

"You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus; and what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well."
[2 Timothy 2:1-2 NRSV]
